In any environmental set up, there's always a kind of dressing that defines it. Equally, Moi University is one of the environment with a unique fashion trend :
1. Ankara off-shoulder
This is a common dress trend for ladies especially models. It's classy, casual and fashionable . What makes it more appealing is how it portrays the neck and some other parts of the shoulder. It's commonly accompanied by jean trousers and in few cases shorts and pencil skirts.
2. Bowties
Eventhough it has been a trend for quite sometime, BOWTIES still remains to be elegant and classy. It can be dressed as either official attire accompanied by official shirt or casually accompanied by chiffon for ladies. Bowties are unisex and compliments any type of person as long as it's well endorsed.
3. Crocs
Though it's awkward at times, crocs remain to be outstanding for both genders . It's light which makes it healthy for the feet since it's not strenuous. Crocs are unofficial and can be accompanied by ankle socks or empty legged.
4. Denim
Denim is effective for both official and unofficial wear. Denim jackets can be accompanied by dresses, shirts and T-shirts. Denim trousers however are more of casual than official. They can be accompanied by any kind of tops as long as they're matching.
5. Black trousers and white tops
This kind of dressing is official and mostly worn by student during presentations and student leaders. The dress code is unisex and depicts some kind of class.
6. Bomber jackets
They are casual but classic jackets that can be worn by both genders. They can be worn by any kind of attire to portray a sense of fashion or keep warm.
7. Blue suits
Eventhough they can be worn by anyone, they are commonly worn by Moi University Student leaders who usually want to portray royalty and seek respect.
8. Croptops
Eventhough they are a little indecent, crop tops have remained to be a trend in Moi University especially for students of arts and education. They are worn by ladies and can be accompanied by bandage skirts or any kind of trousers apart from official ones.
9. Rugged trousers and shorts
They are also commonly worn by students of arts and social sciences. Eventhough they only match certain events, rugged have remained to be classy for quite sometime .
10. Digaga
For a dusty season like this, digaga has been not only a fashion trend but a shield to the eyes from dust. They can be worn by any kind of outfit as long as the glasses march the shape of the face.
